Some Amazing Image Editing Software Programs

For the twenty-first century technology age, everyone needs an image editing software program. They may be used for perfecting photo memories of special days like weddings and anniversaries. You can use some programs to design promotional pamphlets and flyers. Some people use the software just to add special effects to an image.
1. Adobe Photoshop
The most widely-used image editing software is Adobe Photoshop. Adobe products have a reputation for being professional and top-tier. There's no doubt that Photoshop is the best software available f or editing images. It offers countless features, unknown to other programs.
2. GIMP
GIMP is an acronym that stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program. This program is about just as popular as Adobe Photoshop. It offers outstanding editing tools and creation templates.
3. Fireworks
Adobe also created the image editing software program known as Fireworks. Fireworks is ranked number three because it's made especially for web designers. Its features are specific for editing web content images. For this reason, Fireworks is not good for everyone, but still amazing in quality.
4. Inkscape
Inkscape is an exceptional program for image editing. However, it offers fewer features, in terms of tools and formats, than those previously listed.
5. Pixelmator
Pixelmator is a program only available for use on Mac computers. It's pretty simple and not difficult to use. So, it's good for beginners or people who edit images only for personal reasons. Pixelmator happens to be number five on this list because it cannot be used on all computers. It also does not go into much detail in terms of editing options.
Everybody should have at least one, if not more, of the programs above. You will need to tweak a portrait of yourself or a photo of a group of friends from time to time. Make sure you get a program that's best for your needs. And know that you won't become an expert on image editing overnight. It takes time.
