Solar garden lights are the quickest and easiest way to add lighting to the garden or any outdoor space for that matter. Compared to conventional lighting solar lights use a lot less energy and will not require any electricity to run them. They can be found in many retail and online stores.

They are a very eco-friendly form of lighting, deriving their energy from free sunlight. As a result, they have become increasingly popular. What makes them really popular though is their ease of installation. No electricians are required to install outdoor wiring. All you need to do is place them where you like and switch on.
Another great feature is that you can rely on them to provide lighting as no cabling is required and there is no need to remember to switch them on or put them on a timer. Also, the lack of cabling means they are a lot safer. There is no risk of electrocution whilst gardening should you accidentally go through it.
Inside solar garden lights there are low voltage LED lights that are powered by a NiCad battery which is rechargeable. During the day, sunlight charges the the battery, through a photovoltaic cell. When the light dims an automatic switch turns them on. After a full charge, these lights can provide up to ten hours of illumination. With modern LED lights the light emitted is very bright indeed.
