We all should know by now that deleting internet history is best for our computers and should be done on a regular basis. What happens after you delete it and then need an address you lost in doing so? There is a way to undelete internet history.
This is really just a matter of doing a basic system restore. If you have never done a system restore before it is very easy and doesn't harm your computer in any way. You simply go to your control panel and click on performance and maintenance. To the left hand side you should see system restore. Click on that and then next. It will give you a list of times and dates. Choose the one you need and then and then next again. Your computer will reboot and then you should be able to find the address that was lost.
This process can have a negative effect. It may erase information that has been stored between the time you chose for the restore and the time in which the actual restore was done. This process can also be used to get rid of anything harmful such as spyware or viruses that you may have on your computer.
You should also keep in mind that there is a difference between a system restore and a system recovery. A system recovery will install a fresh copy of your operating system on your computer and you may lose everything saved on your hard drive.
When you get the address back you should find a safe place to keep it so that you can delete you internet history again. I usually keep mine saved in my email along with anything else I know I may need for future reference.
All of this should only take a few minutes of your time. If you are uncertain of the process then you may want to ask someone for assistance but you really shouldn't need it.
